general TIPS * it is very important to remember where you save individual pages on your computer * never print a page in a larger size than it was created
CREATIVE MEMORIES STORYBOOK CREATOR PLUS home tab > save > save pages as save in folder: browse your computer & choose a location to save your individual pages output: file type > JPG file resolution: pixels > 300dpi (best) page range > if you would like to save some pages in your project but not all of them, click 'view selected' and add only the pages you would like to save click 'SAVE'
MEMORY MIXER choose 'share album' choose 'export to jpeg' select pages you would like to save export image size > LARGE 3600 x 3600 export location > browse & choose where you would like to save pages on your computer 'EXPORT TO' that location pages you saved will be in a folder labeled with the project name
PHOTO SHOP ELEMENTS
to begin: file > new > 'preset' selection to 'scrapbooking' file will automatically be sized 12 x12 and 300 ppi
to flatten & save a layout once it is complete:
click on 'layer select 'flatten image' from the drop-down list 'file > 'save as' change the format to a JPG file. when you click on 'OK' a window will pop up with the title 'JPG Options' 'Image Options' quality > '10' and 'maximum' 'Format Options' > 'Baseline (Standard)'
SEPARATING 2-PAGE SPREADS in PHOTOSHOP (or PSE)
create 2 new 12x12 documents open flattened 12x24 file click on 'rectangular marquee' tool > set to 'fixed size' > set size to 12x12 click on layout > should see 12x12 marching ant selection appear move 12x12 square to one side of page copy (control C) > paste (control V) onto one of the new 12x12 documents you created return to 12x24 document > copy other side > paste onto the other new 12x12 document
SMILEBOX click 'FILE' from the menu bar click 'SAVE' click 'SAVE AS' and enter a name in "File Name" click 'SAVE' click 'FINISH PROJECTS' located in "Design Workspace" select "Professionally Print Project" click 'NEXT' click 'SAVE AS JPG'
click on 'SHARE, PRINT or DVD' choose 'PRINT / SAVE' click on the 'PRINT' button under "Print at a Store" click the 'SAVE' button under "Save JPG images to print at a store" click 'OK' click on folder you wish to save your pages to
